Urgent Website Check and Minor Blogskin / Layout Editing

Comments on the Music

For those who are observant, you may have noticed that we now have 2 music tracks there, at the left side.

The top one auto-plays. The bottom one is a Chinese one, so I did not put it on auto - play, as I am aware that not everyone who reads this blog may understand Chinese. So no auto - play for the Chinese songs, so the ones who can't understand Chinese can listen to the lovely Wizet music or the English songs. :D

Hope you all are OKAY with this teeny weeny minor adjustment. Hahas shouldn't affect your viewing of the blog much.

Guild Birthday Celebrations

goodness this post is long overdue. If you're wondering about the date I am posting this, it is 30 Jan. -_-

Yay! We had a nice time on Guild Birthday.

Met at Shanghai at 7pm, and proceeded with the games, or rather, game.

SilentXD decided to have a contest; see who could collect 10 duck eggs and 10 chicken feet first.
At first we were a bit reluctant, but aftewards we decided to start.

All guild rules and morals were broken (into tiny little shreds) when the judge yelled: GO!!

The chicken feet was used to mark the spot on where to stand. Looks like I forgot to tell them us to pick up the feet -_-









Whee~ I think "Unlease Your Hidden Potential" has sort of become a motto or some sort for this guild :D

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU~ HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU~~
Our guild turns ONE today, and this is a significant milestone for it; for US. The Big One signifies the struggle of a young, literally unknown, guild, rising from lower levels (starting off with 6 low levels), to the present of our nearly 20-strong guild.

While it may have taken 1 year for this to happen, many things have happened. Times changed, we changed, but we all can learn valuable lessons from the past. We can learn from our mistakes and never repeat them again. We can build on our current successes. Because nothing is ever perfect, improvement is the key. By continually improving ourselves, we get better and better each day that passes.

I remember, exactly 365 days (fine, 365 and 1/4 day, if you MUST insist on the EXACT number of days ;D) ago, on this very day, our GuildMaster was eating pasta was at the Guild HQ in Orbis. No, she was not slacking or afk-ing there. She was there to write a new chapter in her life; and subsequently in the lives of many others, too. On that very day, MSNoobSterZ was born.

We have come quite far. We have been through together the ups and downs of the Guild. We have shared KS-ing experiences, map raiding, birthdays, maps and basically, well, a lot. Okay this is starting to sound a lot like those long boring speeches. But I shall not make it boring. I don't want anyone to fall asleep in front of their computer, drooling on their keyboard. Now THAT's unglam.

Speaking of unglam, there were certain moments when the guild's reputation seemed to be nearly lost. Especially when some people lost their minds and went to KS others. That puts Jr Masters and the GuildMaster in a difficult position. Deciding whether to stick up for the member, who was clearly in the wrong, or keeping their word to punish that person. Sometimes it's hard, but then again, somebody has to do it.

And I can just remember our first Guild PQ. It was so funny, I kept laughing. I couldn't help it. The members (even those who were not from our guild, but came along anyways) were working so well together. And I just felt happy looking at them help each other, especially at the jumping quest part. We all were frustrated, but, never giving up, we managed to obtain the longinus spears in the end.

And at the boss stage, even though most of us died, we still had a good laugh about it. And I think that's the true essence of the guild. Having fun, and always laughing. They say laughter is the best medicine, and I think that's true. Some of us even fought to go nearer to Ergoth!

But even as we improve, let us not forget our past. This guild was set up, originally, for lower levels. However, due to a lack of space, it seems the noobs have been forgotten. That will be fixed soon.

Guild birthday Planning!

Hahas I'm meant to be doing my homework now, but...I got distracted. -_-

Anyways, for guild birthday, its on a Sunday btw. 18 Jan!

So I was thinking, because not everyone can make it at a certain timing, to have TWO celebrations. But I have to put someone else in charge of the 2nd one. Any volunteers? Or I close my eyes and pick? ._.

What we will probably do on Guild Birthday, is to, first and foremost, take a picture :D

Then the rest i'm not very sure...I know I have to make a super lengthy post HERE, in Guild website. I really want to make one in the BBS too, but there's a word limit. D: (yes there is!)

Guild Birthday pre-Planning!

okok. I have been receiving queries about GUILD BIRTHDAY! :D

Supposedly one of the most *exciting* events in Guild history, and little is known about it. ugh.

This post is overdue *oops! =P* But no time. Grahh. D:

Just my 10 mesos worth: But although it is supposedly a very very major event, yet somehow...I don't feel much about it. I don't know why, and is anyone else feeling the same? The feeling of excitement just isn't there this event round. Fine, maybe its several factors affecting it, yes? Games certainly isn't (and shouldn't be!) on the top of my priority list - and yours too, probably. Bleh. Studies/work (whichever applicable) and family first. After all, a game is just, a game, afterall. No matter how much effort you put into your characters or online avatars, they are afterall, just mere pixels on the screen.

But yet we have a sense of attachment to these pixel characters, don't we? You feel as though they are a part of you, and you invest time and effort into it. But it can never become real, can it? Afterall, they are just mere pixels on a screen. But its real humans controlling these fake characters.

What the character sees in the game, the human does too.

Are we not connected to our characters as well?

But once again, I know lately I haven't been login-in, and as GuildMaster, I am sorry for that. I know I know, I should be the one to set a good example. Sorry!

Pre-guild birthday just doesn't seem very pre-guild birthday-ish. Don't you think?

2009! Happy New Year!

Hey! If you're reading this, it means its the year 2009! :D

So much has happened in the last year. But here we are - 2009.


Its full of surprises and journeys which await us. Treasures yet to be found. Friendships to be forged. Knowledge to be gained.

We never will know what could happen next. It could be anything, from the littlest things, to the major life-changing events.

So let us all embrace the new year; but let us not forget the old years too. Reflect back to the past, and learn new lessons. There's so much to be gained.

And here's wishing everyone a Happy New Year!
